We are located at 1511 High Country Road, Matamata and are in between numbers 1509 and 1513 neighbouring properties.Our letterbox is located on our black fence line, along with a well-lit sign board.Feel free to contact John directly on 0273187761 if you have any queries.

Parking

Drive down the driveway pass the paddock and up to the black shed.There will be a parking sign on your far left saying “Guest Parking Only” where you’re welcome to park.

Check in is from 2pm each day.If you require an earlier check in, please advise us as soon as possible to see if we can accommodate that.On the deck, you'll find a lockbox containing the key to the cabin.The passcode for the lockbox is 2121.

House Rules

Don't let doggy escape: Please be mindful of keeping our dog Charlie within the fenced area. He is an escape artist and chases other animals.Water Consumption: Please be mindful off your water consumption in summer time.
We are rainwater reliant.Sensor lights: Please do not turn of the two available sensor lights. They will enable easy access in the dark.Dehumidifier: Please leave the dehumidifier on.Opening windows: You can access windows through gently pulling away the fly screen.

Special Notes

We thank you for abiding by the following rules:Shoes - Please avoid bringing shoes inside and put your shoes on the shoe rack instead.
Courtesy umbrella is also provided for your convenience.Paddocks and farm animals - Please do not enter the paddocks or feed the chickens, dog, cows or sheep.Toilet use - Please do not flush any wipes or feminine hygiene productsNo parties - Thank you for not hosting parties or inviting extra guests.

Dishwashing

Any used dishes, please leave on the bench for John to do on departure.You’re away from home and we encourage you to relax!

Smoking Policy

There is an ashtray in the kitchenette cupboard under the tea/ coffee storage box for your use.Feel free to smoke anywhere outside, just not inside, please.

Breakfast

We’re pleased to now be providing locally sourced raw honey and our own organic Heritage Hen eggs. They both pair beautifully with our homemade bread for your breakfast.The eggs are delicious when fried or scrambled in the olive oil/ butter provided. There is an egg cooker, electric element, oil, frypan, salt and pepper in the cupboard if you’d like to cook them for your breakfast.Feel free to help yourselves to the Parsley on the outdoor table, it goes great with the eggs.The homemade yoghurt pairs nicely with the muesli too.As mentioned in our listing: the “Starter Pack” self-catering light breakfast is included in your stay for the first morning only. If you would like it daily, please contact John as it will incur an additional charge.

Coffee Machine

Before turning on please make sure it has water.
Lift tab and place pod that is provided into the tab.
Press the button for the kind of coffee shot you want. Enjoy!If you want to warm and froth your milk, pour milk into the milk-frother up to the max line, close the lid tightly and press the button.Please wash after use. The spring is magnetic and comes out for an easy wash.

TV and Games

The TV has Chromecast built into it enabling you to cast apps or SkyGo off your phone, direct to the TV.There are also board games available in the TV cabinet.

Children’s Area

Your children are more than welcome to use the trampoline and playhouse, (apologies if the playhouse is in a state – our children mess it up daily).

There are luggage racks stored under the ottoman for your convenience.In the cupboard under the sink, there is a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, an iron and a tabletop ironing board.Universal USB phone chargers are available in the bedside tables.
